Research

The department has a major role in academic research, which are applicable in the following fields

Studying the Environmental Etiology of Cancer

Studying the Bio-chemical and genetic changes occurring with cancer. Also discovering new tumor markers that have both diagnostic and prognostic roles

The efficiency of chemotherapy and decreasing its toxic effect is performed in vivo on the experimental animals

Studying the role of virology in the etiology of cancer
