Title page:
Title should be brief (not more than 90 characters) specific and informative. State author and coauthors, academic degree and affiliation for each author (department, hospital or academic institution where the work was performed). Give the name and full address (include phone and fax numbers) of the author with whom correspondence will be made regarding the processing of the manuscript and mailing of reprints.

Acknowledgements:
These should be given on a separate sheet.

Key Words:
3-6 key words for indexing should be given on the same page as the Abstract.

Abstract:
A 200-300 words abstract should be given on a separate sheet. The abstract should concisely give the main aspects and features under the following clearly labeled sections: Objective (or Background and Purpose), Materials and Methods, Results and Conclusions. For reviews and short communications the Abstract may be structured into the same sections but can also be nonstructured.

Text Structuring:
It is preferable to organize the text to include an Introduction, Material and Methods, Results, Discussion and Conclusions. A short running title (shortened from the main title) along with the name of the first author should be typed on the top (head) of each page of the manuscript (including legends, tables and references). The pages of the manuscript should be numbered consecutively starting from the title page. Abbreviations must be defined when first used in the text.

Tables:
Each table should be typed double spaced on a separate sheet. Tables should be numbered consecutively in Arabic numerals according to the order of their appearance in the text. The table number is to be followed by a brief informative descriptive title. Footnotes and explanations are to be typed underneath the table.

Illustrations:
Limit the illustrations to those which clarify and reinforce the text while avoiding illustrations that demonstrate the same feature. Photographs, line drawings and graphs should be of a high artistic and technical quality. A manuscript can be rejected on the basis of the poor quality of illustrations. Line drawings or graphs should be in India ink or very sharp high contrast prints on glossy paper. Illustrations should be submitted unmounted and untrimmed. Color photographs may be accepted if absolutely necessary but the author (s) may be charged the extra cost. Each illustration should be identified by lightly inscribing it’s number on the back along with the family name of the first author and an arrow indicating its orientation of the figure.

Legends to Figures:
Legends should be typed double-spaced on a separate sheet and numbered consecutively in Arabic numerals according to the order of their citation in the text. Legends should be brief and specific.

References:
In the text, references should be referred to by Arabic numerals between brackets

e.g. (2-5,15). A list of references should be given on a separate sheet and arranged in an alphabetical order according to the following styles:

A journal reference should be given in the following order: author (s), initial (s), article title and subtitle if any journal abbreviation, volume number in Arabic numerals, inclusive pages and year as in the following example:

Awwad, H.K., El-Badawy, S., El-Ghamrawy, K., El-Mongy, M., Rizk, S.  Late tissue reactions after single-fraction half-body irradiation (HBI) in patients with non-Hodgkin’s lymphomas. Int. J. Radiat. Oncol. Biol. Phys. 19: 1229-1232;1990.

If the reference is an abstract, this should be indicated at the end of the original reference by adding (Abst) as in the following example:

Perez, C.A., Graham, M.V., Emami, B. A fully integrated CT-simulator: Conceptional design and clinical applications. (Abst) Int. J. Radiat. Oncol. Biol. Phys. 27(1): 140, 1993.

For a book reference, the order should be as follows: author (s), initial (s), title, volume (if more than one), edition number (for other than the first), city, publisher, year, inclusive pages from which the quotation is made as in the following example:
Alphen, E.D. Radiation biophysics. Englewood Cliffs New Jersey, Prentice
Hall Advance Reference Series, Physical and Life Sciences, 1990: 74-90.

If the reference is a chapter in a book the order should be as follows: author (s) of the chapter, initial (s), title of the chapter. In: editor (s) name (s), ed (s), book title, city: publisher : year, inclusive pages of the chapter as in the following example:
Wasserman, T.H., Kligerman, M. Chemical modifiers of radiation effects. In: Perez, J., Brady J.B. eds. Principles and practice of radiation oncology. Philadelphia, PA: Lippincott Co: 1987: 360376.

Authors are responsible for the bibliographic accuracy of the manuscript and should carefully revise every reference in both the original manuscript and the proofs
